07 Dec Discover More Destinations to Defrost this Winter
Are you still looking for some places to escape this cold weather? We gave you some options before, but it never hurts to provide a few more! Check out these tropical, warm destinations to defrost in:
This lush paradise has so many fun things to do, and so much delicious food to eat. The country is filled with beautiful hikes to places like Little Adams peak, that offer some of the most breathtaking views. You can also take some time to explore the beaches and maybe even learn how to surf!
Don’t forget, while it’s winter in the northern hemisphere, it’s summer in the south! So, where’s better to go than Australia? Take some time to explore Sydney or Melbourne, and maybe even some beaches. Australia is HUGE, so you’ll have to pick a general area for your trip, depending on what kind of vacation you’re looking for. For example, if you want to spend more time exploring cities, your best bet would be the east coast, where you can spend your time in Sydney or Melbourne. If you’re less of a city person and you’re looking to explore the nature that Australia has to offer, then the west coast is the best coast!
Visiting Cuba is like taking a trip to the past. The country is filled with old cars and colorful buildings. The weather is of course, great, making it a perfect trip for the winter. November through March also just happens to be the best time to visit Cuba, because the temperatures are less intense, and it’s no longer the rainy season. Not only will the weather be great, but the scenery and food aren’t too bad either.
If you’re looking to get more places checked off your adventure bucket list, Costa Rica is the perfect place for you. There is so much that this country has to offer, whether it’s zip lining through the jungle, white water rafting, visiting beautiful waterfalls or seeing the amazing wildlife. The country’s rainy season usually stretches from May to November, so if you visit after that, you’ll have a delightfully sunny trip.
Paradise awaits in Hawaii! With multiple islands to choose from, you can explore Honolulu or visit the grand volcano on the big island! Unfortunately, the winter months are Hawaii’s rainy season, so you’ll want to plan your trip with that in mind and plan on visiting some of the drier cities, if possible. Kona, for example, is a city on the big island, with beautiful resorts and beaches but doesn’t receive nearly as much rain as Hilo, a city on the other side of the island. Snorkel away!
There you have it! Book your flight now and enjoy your tropical paradise!
